Retail
stores and websites can either carry the shoe in Taper and Square
options all with U-vamps, all in 3/4 Medium shank, or just carry the
Square but in different shanks…

- Pre-Pointe / Demi-Pointe
- (A shankless version of SU, Square box with U-vamp only) Satin demi-pointe shoes. Special box for beginners and a U cut for this shoe with NO shank. Excellent pre-pointe shoe to develop and strengthen the muscles in preparation for full pointe work. Should never be used to go on pointe. Elastic drawstring. Available with pre-stitched high-quality satin or cotton ribbons (free option)

- La Pointe Pro offers reinforced soles, made of unbreakable carbon fiber shanks, that only comes in 1/2 length and hugs the arch of the foot perfectly. Reinforced Hard Shank is recommended for dancers in search for unbreakable shanks and strong hold. Reinforced Extra Hard shank is recommended for dancers thay may need additional support, and extra hold. This shank can be cut down lower by dancer if needed.

Our made-to-measure service has been specifically designed for them. Wear Moi proposes to adjust La Pointe to their specific requirements:

- For Example, a dancer can take their standard stock shoe that is:
- TU-4,5-XXX-3/4-H-HW-RIBS translation: Taper Box, U-cut, Size 4,5, Width XXX (Extra Wide), 3/4 length Hard shank, High Wings, Satin Ribbons.
- From here, we can start adjusting: Cut the sides down by 5mm, cut down the heel by 7mm, broaden the platform by 3mm, reinforce the wings, lower the vamp by 6mm… The possibilities are endless.
